Research on the Industrial Development of Gansu's Intangible Cultural Heritage in "Dyeing, Weaving, and Embroidery" from a Supply-Demand Coordination Perspective

Abstract: The intangible cultural heritage techniques of "dyeing, weaving, and embroidery" in Gansu embody rich regional culture and ethnic memories, holding significant potential for industrialization. This study systematically analyzes the resource endowment, spatiotemporal distribution patterns, inheritors' satisfaction, and consumers' purchasing intentions and emotional preferences for the cultural and creative industrialization of these techniques from a supply-demand synergy perspective. The findings reveal: Gansu's intangible cultural heritage resources for dyeing, weaving, and embroidery are highly concentrated in ethnic minority settlements, where policy support and inheritor competence serve as key advantages; however, challenges include low social recognition, insufficient economic returns, weak brand development, and prominent product quality issues; Consumers prioritize the practical value and cultural significance of products, demonstrating generally positive emotional attitudes but expressing clear negative feedback regarding quality consistency; Efforts should focus on advancing standardization and digital transformation at the production end, while strengthening brand building, expanding application scenarios, and enhancing public awareness at the consumption end to achieve supply-demand alignment and sustainable development of intangible cultural heritage in the modernization process.
